December Photo 2

The ancient Chinese proverb, “One picture is worth 10,000 words,” was the inspiration for Talk Story at the start of this year. This month, two similar photographs are featured. Think flipbook and imagine movement from picture to picture. The resulting movie should be worth 100,000 words.
What can you tell us about these pictures? Who are these people? What were they doing? When was it taken? What significance to our Community Center does the photo represent? And why does one fellow keep on looking at his feet?
Send an email to talkstory@vjcc.com.

They were also involved in all the social and cultural events of the school and for years supported the Community Center by preparing and selling the obento for the Shinnen Enkai party. All this for kodomo no tame ni.” - Elinor Suzuki
