Golfers and volunteers were greeted by a very foggy and chilly morning as they prepared for the 8 a.m. shotgun start for the 5th Annual VJCC Golf tournament at the Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo. 134 golfers entered this year's Tournament. The sun never really came out all morning, but there was no wind and no rain - a perfect golfing day. As last year's Tournament was held at the same course, the many returning golfers had the advantage of having played this course before.

The Awards Luncheon began immediately after all the golfers had finished the course. As with last year, the tri-tip and chicken BBQ buffet, and the clubhouse facilities were both excellent. Thanks to the donation by the West Light Community Church, all the golfers were given a photo featuring their foursome and individual action shots taken of them during the Tournament.

Besides the Tournament winners, a special thank you goes out to the special award winners (for being good sports): Steve Fujimoto, Better Late than Never Award; Fusako Ogasawara, Playboy Bunny Award; and Shari Tochihara, Happy Hooker Award. Thank you to all the participants, sponsors and volunteers who made the VJCC 5th Annual Golf Tournament a tremendous success!
