THE JAPANESE ART OF FLOWER ARRANGEMENT

Thursdays  7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

THE CLASS:  In each session, the instructor will provide a demonstration of a different type of arrangement.  Next, the instructor will assist you in creating your own arrangements that you can take home at the end of the class.


COST:  $25/class, includes materials
One (1) session consists of four (4) classes. Students pay $100 the first day.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Students can cancel the class by Tuesday noon. The instructor will buy materials on Wednesday morning.  So, she needs to know how many students will be attending.  If students cancel the class, the fee will extend to the next class.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:  Bring ikebana scissors, kenzan, ikebana container (consult the instructor).

​

INSTRUCTOR BACKGROUND:  Satsuki Palter has been doing ikebana for 37 years and has a title of Sub-Grandmaster of the Ohara School of Ikebana. She is the President of the Ohara Los Angeles Ikebana Society as well as past and present officer in multiple national and local Ikebana Associations. Satsuki Palter has held demonstrations, exhibitions and workshops in many locations.
