The VJCC Senior Nutrition Program was founded 40+ years ago by Hitoshi & Kay Shimizu.  Their passion and dedication to the Japanese community brought nutrition, joy, and togetherness to so many of us over the years.  We vow to do our best to continue their legacy.

Get up, get dressed, and get going by participating in our VJCC Senior Nutrition “Fun Fridays,” which include:

Bingo every Friday at 10:15 a.m., giving away a variety of prizes with weekly freebies – nobody goes away empty handed!

Cake Day – the third Friday of each month – celebrates all our friends with birthdays that month.  The cakes are as great as the guests they honor!

You must be a VJCC member to participate in the above programs.  â€‹We strongly encourage everyone to sign up to participate in the Meals Program.  Please note that you must be both a VJCC member and a participant in the Senior Meals Program in order to attend the Senior Nutrition Holiday Party.
